The Outsider

One time I felt very outside was when I started playing football. I didn't really know many of the people and I had no experience with the sport. The way I handled it was by putting forth my best effort and striving to get better every day. Due to my lack of knowledge with the sport, a lot of the times I got funny looks and people didn't always treat me with the best care. As I played more and more and the season started progressing, i started to get to know a lot of the kids and became friendly with most of them. If I had to deal with these feelings on a regular basis, I would most likely not be that comfortable with myself.

  1. I can really connect to your experience, and I also enjoy the simplicity of your blog.

  2. Hey Jack, your blog has good ideas but need a lot more detail. I can't talk trash cause I didn't even do this blog, but still little more detail. I like the way you talk about the lack of knowledge for the sport and really think if you expanded on that idea the blog would sound so much better.
    Good job overall though,
    Adrian

  3. Hey Jack, I can sympathize with your football experience. I also had trouble when I first started playing the sport. I could not remember the plays (Florida left lancer block). I thought this blog post was interesting.

  4. Nice work Jack. I completely get what it feels like to be an outsider and it isn't pleasant, but it makes you a stronger person in the end. Nice work!
